Michael Redhill Wins the Toronto Book Awards

Poet, playwright and novelist Michael Redhill won the 2007 Toronto Book awards for his novel Consolation (Doubleday). The other finalists were:

  • Sally Gibson, Inside Toronto: Urban Interiors 1880s to 1920s (Cormorant Books)
  • Geoffrey James, Toronto (Douglas & McIntyre)
  • Vincent Lam, Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures (Doubleday Canada)
  • Raymond Souster, Uptown Downtown (The Battered Silicon Dispatch Box)
